Founder, President and Chief Executive Officer
François-Xavier Souvay is the Founder, President and Chief Executive Officer of LMPG, Inc. In this capacity, he oversees global vision, corporate development and strategic planning, maintaining LMPG's reputation for innovation and customer experience excellence.
A seasoned entrepreneur, Mr. Souvay has over 25 years of experience in the lighting industry. By age 23, he was already contributing to large commercial real estate projects in Montreal, and soon was recruited by a specification grade outdoor lighting company, where he established a network of agents and VARs in Canada and the United States. Leveraging this experience, he then acted as a consultant for various lighting companies across North America.
In 1999, he acquired Luxtec, a value-added reseller of diversified specification-grade lighting solutions and was soon spearheading LED research and development. Focused on combining innovative technology expertise with strong industrial design, he founded Lumenpulse in 2006. The company has since established itself as the leading pure-play specification-grade LED lighting solution provider.
Mr. Souvay holds numerous patents in his name and is a well-known thought leader in the LED lighting industry. In 2015, He was awarded the EY Entrepreneur of the Year in Quebec.
Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer
Peter Timotheatos is the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of LMPG Inc., a role he has held since 2016. In addition to his role overseeing the Company's financial strategy and risk management, Mr. Timotheatos' oversight responsibilities include information technology, human resources, and legal affairs. Leveraging his 25 years of experience in finance and advisory roles, he provides strategic operational support to the group and is responsible for the execution of its merger and acquisitions strategy.
In 2020, Mr. Timotheatos was also appointed as the Chief Operating Officer of Lumenpulse Lighting, overseeing the brand's operating activities directly.
Prior to his role as the CFO of LMPG Inc., he held the role of Senior Vice President Financial Planning, Analysis and Results, managing the group's FP&A group and External Financial Reporting.
Prior to joining LMPG Inc., Mr. Timotheatos was the Chief Financial Officer of Centre Agricole JLD Inc., an independent John Deere dealership group. Additionally, he served as Director, Corporate Development and Planning from 2008 to 2010, then as Vice President, Finance until 2011 and as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer until 2012 at Aveos Fleet Performance Inc. and as Chief Financial Officer at BCE Elix (a Bell Canada Company) from 2004 to 2007. In addition to his CPA, CA designation, he also holds Chartered Business Valuator (CBV) and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designations.
Mr. Timotheatos holds a Graduate Diploma in public accounting and a Bachelor of Commerce in accounting from McGill University. He is an experienced finance professional with a versatile financial and operational background.
President, Fluxwerx Illumination, Inc.
Reuben Bartlett is the President of Fluxwerx Illumination Inc., which he joined at startup in 2011 and which became part of LMPG Inc. in 2016. Mr. Bartlett has over 20 years experience in various leadership roles across industries and has spent the last 10 years in the lighting sector in senior roles focused on business management and strategy, product development, product management, and sales and marketing management.
Mr. Bartlett holds a Bachelors Degree in Sales and Marketing Management and is a Dean's List honors graduate from the MBA program at Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario.
Mark Dean is the President of Sternberg Lighting, a position he has held since 2019, overseeing all aspects of Sternberg Lighting, while focusing its new product development on growing market sectors.
Mr. Dean joined Sternberg in 2013 as Vice President of Marketing and Business Development. In October 2018, he was promoted to Chief Operating Officer, effectively taking on the management of the company, a position he held until he was named President in 2019. Mr. Dean has more than 20 years of experience in decorative outdoor lighting, having been at Philips Lumec from 1998 to 2013, in the role of its General Manager for his last three years with such company.
Managing Director, Exenia S.r.l.
Danilo Corri joined Exenia in 2013 as Director of Sales and became Managing Director of Exenia in May 2021. Prior to this appointment, he was the Director of Sales, Italy for Targetti Poulsen Spa and was Chief Executive Officer at Esedra Spa (part of the Targetti group).
With more than 20 years of experience in the electrical equipment sector with a particular focus on the lighting equipment market, Mr. Corri has a thorough knowledge of the European lighting market and its dynamics.
He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Commerce from the Università degli Studi di Firenze.
President and Managing Director - CDm2 Lightworks
Darren Luce is the President of CDm2 Lightworks, a company he founded in 2006. He has over 30 years of business experience that provides him with a uniquely diverse strategic knowledge of the lighting industry. Mr. Luce has successfully managed sales organizations and businesses with a proven track record of generating high-value growth from the specification lighting markets both locally and globally.
Prior to founding CDm2 Lightworks, Mr. Luce was Vice President of Sales for TIR Systems Ltd, a TSX traded lighting technology company that was acquired by Royal Philips Electronics in 2007. M. Luce holds an LC lighting professional certification and is a Past President of Illuminating Engineering Society, BC Section.
Senior Director of Legal Affairs
Caroline Leduc is the Senior Director of Legal Affairs and is responsible for overseeing all of LMPG's legal needs. Prior to joining LMPG Inc., Caroline worked in the financial services industry acting as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for Collabria Financial Services, and as senior legal counsel for Desjardins. Throughout her career, Caroline held various in-house positions and practiced in boutique and national law firms. She has 15 years of experience advising Canadian business corporations on a wide range of commercial and corporate matters, including in mergers, acquisitions, and equity financing transactions.
Caroline holds a Law Degree from McGill University/Paris II - Panthéon Assas and a Master of Laws from the Université de Montréal. She is an MBA candidate at the University of Sherbrooke and is a member of the Quebec Bar Association.
